Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand project requirements and translate them into successful testing strategies.
- Identify, record, and track defects while managing and prioritizing testing efforts.
- Perform regression testing after bug fixes and ensure continuous integration and quality delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices in the QA process.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members, sharing your expertise in testing methodologies.
- Stay updated on the latest testing tools and technologies, and offer recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- A strong background with 8 to 12 years of experience in QA/Tester roles.
- Proficiency in various testing methodologies, including functional, non-functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks is highly desirable. Knowledge of Selenium, JUnit, or similar tools will set you apart!
