### Role & Responsibilities:
As a Lead I – Software Engineering (SDET), your main focus will be on automating tests for data integration and transformation workflows. Here’s what your day-to-day may look like:
- Develop and maintain test automation for data workflows and APIs.
- Get hands-on with data pipelines and messaging systems.
- Work within NoSQL/search platforms to enhance data interaction.
- Engage in data validation to ensure top-notch quality throughout the CI/CD process.
### Qualifications & Skills:
Now, let’s talk about what skills you should bring to the table. To rock this role, you’ll need:
- Proficiency in Selenium with Java for automating those tests like a pro.
- Hands-on experience in API Testing. You’ve got to know how the technology interacts!
- At least two out of the following: Kafka (or a similar messaging system), NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
- A strong grasp of automation frameworks and data testing principles. You know what makes a test reliable and effective!
