Role: PCS QA Engineer
Role Description & Responsibilities
As a PCS QA Engineer, your missions will include:
Participate in Performance Testing and Engineering activities, including performance data analysis, issue triaging, and monitoring with a focus on performance and scalability.
Analyze and diagnose performance issues; report incidents to relevant teams.
Contribute from the design phase to influence product perception by customers.
Advocate for and implement continuous integration and robustness testing.
Apply best technical practices such as CI/CD, test automation, and observability.
Use test-driven strategies to ensure code quality; collaborate closely with the team to maintain feature quality.
Leverage methodologies to anticipate/mitigate risks, ensure team health, and manage complex tasks.
Provide technical guidance, share knowledge, and encourage team professional growth.Be a key member of the engineering team delivering mission-critical software.Work in a collaborative environment with Product Management and Developers as a hands-on tester.
Remain self-motivated and engaged in solving high-impact, challenging engineering problems.
Continuously strive to raise the standard of quality in our SaaS products and services.
Utilize industry-standard performance test automation tools and develop product test harnesses.
Qualifications
Engineering degree with a minimum of 60% marks throughout academics.
Availability to join within 0–30 days.1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in:
Designing performance test scenarios.
Preparing test scripts and executing tests using performance testing frameworks.
Experience in using JMeter (mandatory).
Proficiency in Core Java, OS-level concepts, and profiling.
Good to have scripting skills: Shell, Bash, Python.
Knowledge of profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks in API, CPU, Memory, Network, etc.
Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, SVN, GitLab.
API test automation and simulation/lab experimentation experience is a plus.
Strong curiosity, rigor, proactivity, and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
