Bengaluru, India – June 7, 2025 – Infosys, a big IT company in India, has started a new plan to give money to its senior employees who help hire new people. They will pay ₹700 for each interview done by senior staff, which is a new way to thank them for their hard work and find the best talent for the company.

What’s the Cash Reward Plan?
Infosys shared this news on June 6, 2025. Here’s how it works:
- Who Gets It: Senior employees like team leads and project managers (levels 5 and 6) who do interviews.
- How Much: They get ₹700 for every interview they do.
- When It Started: This counts for interviews done since January 1, 2025.
- Who Doesn’t Get It: HR staff, contractors, and top leaders don’t get this reward. Also, no reward if the interview gets canceled or the candidate doesn’t show up.
Why Is Infosys Doing This?
The IT industry needs more skilled people for jobs like AI, cloud, and coding, but it’s hard to find them. Infosys is now hiring more experienced people instead of freshers from colleges. They hold big hiring events on weekends, and senior employees do 10-15 interviews a day, checking skills like Python, Java, and more.
This reward helps cheer up employees because salary hikes this year were small (5-8%), and bonuses for March 2025 were lower (50-70%). One employee told The Economic Times, “Before, we only got extra leave for weekend work. Now, this money is a nice way to say thanks.”
