UIDAI’s Internship Scheme 2025 is designed to engage young talent in meaningful projects while providing exposure to the functioning of a critical government organization. Interns will work under experienced mentors in areas like application development, cyber laws, data privacy, and general management, gaining insights into niche technology and policy domains.

Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen.
- Academic Requirements:
- Minimum 60% marks or GPA of 6.0/10 in all prior semesters.
- Technical Fields:
- B.Tech/BE/B.Design (final/pre-final year or completed within 6 months).
- M.Tech/ME/MCA/Master in Design (final/pre-final year or completed within 6 months).
- PhD/Research students in Computer Science, AI, Cyber Security, etc., with a recommendation letter from their supervisor.
- Other Fields:
- UG/PG in Legal, Commerce, Accounts, Business Administration, Finance, Mass Communication, Mathematics, Statistics (final year or completed within 6 months).
- MBA/PGDM students (final/pre-final year or completed within 6 months).
- Note: The gap between final exam results and internship start date must not exceed 6 months.
Note: PhD candidates already receiving a fellowship will be eligible for a gap amount only. Interns must arrange their own accommodation and transport; however, basic lodging may be available on a paid basis at the Technology Centre in Bengaluru.
Internship Duration & Completion
- Duration: Minimum 6 weeks, maximum 12 months.
- Completion Requirements:
- Submit a project report at the end of the internship.
- Furnish a “No Demand Certificate” to UIDAI.
- Interns not completing the minimum duration will not receive a certificate.
- Performance Evaluation: For internships over 4 months in technical fields, bi-monthly evaluations will be conducted based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
